Widely known for his cricketing prowess, Kevin Pietersen MBE has been described, by esteemed legends within the game, as simply the 'greatest batsman to ever wear an England shirt.'
Kevin made his debut for England in 2005 and played 104 Test matches, scoring 8,181 runs at an average of 47.28 in an international career that spanned a decade. He scored over 13,000 runs in all formats of the game and in 2013 became England's all-time leading run-scorer. Scoring a sensational 158 at the Oval in 2005, an innings which helped England secure an Ashes victory for the first time since 1987, Kevin received an MBE from her Majesty the Queen.
Since his retirement from professional cricket, Kevin has dedicated his life to protecting biodiversity and in particular, rhino conservation. He set up SORAI (Save Our Rhinos Africa and India) and raised huge sums of money and global awareness through his various initiatives including podcast "Beast of Man" and "Save our Rhino" documentary on National Geographic.
Kevin also is active in media, working as a commentator and analyst for Sky Sports Cricket and TalkSport, as well as covering the IPL for Star Sports in India.
