Chris Froome OBE, is widely acknowledged as the greatest professional road cyclist of his generation, having won the Tour de France no less than four times.
Chris rode for Team Sky/INEOS for a ten-year period before joining Israel Start-Up Nation on January 1st 2021, in the pursuit of his record-breaking 5th Tour de France title.
His accolades include winning 4x Tour de France, 2x Vuelta a España and 1x Giro d’Italia, as well as winning 2 Olympic medals for Great Britain at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. In 2017, Chris won both his 4th Tour de France and the Vuelta a España, following up those wins with victory in the Giro d’Italia in 2018, making him the first cyclist to achieve a Grand Tour double in a decade and the first to hold all three titles since 1983.
Away from cycling, Chris is a passionate conservationist, raising money and awareness for rhino conservation and is also an ambassador for United for Wildlife, part of The Royal Foundation, which seeks to protect endangered animals.
